About Southwind’s School Bus Drivers
Southwinds Transportation encourages and values a great team of school bus drivers to promote safety and reliability to our customers. We look forward to hearing from you and reach your career goals in the school bus industry.

Southwind Transportation is offering free training to those candidates that are qualified and determined to make a career in driving. Our training program will train you at no charge to become a fully certified/ professional school bus driver.
Our state certified trainer will provide you training sessions that will help you take the DMV and California Highway Patrol (CHP) Examinations that are required to pass the coressponding tests to obtain your commerical license and school bus certification.
Training inludes:
20 in classroom hours, 20 behind the wheel hours, and red cross first aid certification.
Your training time is appromiately between 4 to 6 weeks depending on your ability, but feel assured our trainer will walk you through to completion. Upon completion and successful passing of your driving test and certification, Sotuhwinds will hire you to begin your new career.
